Here, we propose a semi supervised learning algorithm to detect and extract all algorithm names from research papers. Named entity recognition is a hot field of research in Natural Language Processing. Here, we treat algorithm names as named entities and devise approaches to recognize the algorithms linked to the citation where these have been described. We further propose methods to eliminate the false positives and report qualitative and quantitative results for the same.
